So i was dump before, conc was missing but still a bit low.

I would use the wither totem. Wither totem (at 20 stacks ~ 3sec) gives us 140% MORE chaos damage. This means that all the poison stacks will be multiplied by 2.4. On top of this, the totem slows all enemies down.

Atm, using Rive+Es Shield.

Wondering what my next upgrade should be:

a) save for a scourge claw (they're still pricey at around 6ex) and keep shield+claw setup;
b) get an abyssus (i would need to drop my 6l chest and get a higher ES one, though probably only a 5l) - and eventually keep shield+claw setup with transition to a scourge later on.
c)save up even more to eventually get dual scourges (my dps will be lacking in the meanwhile)

What worries me about the abyssus is the incresed phys dmg taken as i'm currently at 7.4k es (with shield).

switch to abyss for sure I did I'm only at 6.8k es with shield too get a 40% damage one if u can its really not that much damage taken

managed to get an abyssus and a new ring, chest and es shield (chest and shield were drops).



Considering getting a Scourge next.

a) Worried a bit about resists (not very overcapped), but mainly about losing the 100% bleed on hit. Is it noticeable in poison stacking??


b) Or should i get a voidheart aswell with the claw? If so, my hit chance goes down to 85% (even wit higher acc gloves). Would that rly be an upgrade?

c) And what roll is more important on the voidheart: bleed or poison chance?

a) Bleed isn't important, because it doesn't stack. We have many hit per sec and get bleed on mobs from Noxious strike and Voidheart almost instant.

b) You should take Voidheart as soon as possible for poison.

c) Bleed doesn't matter, look at poison %

Hi, I don't understand how to fit the auras, DIscipine Herald of Ash and Hatred, without the level 4 Engel then. Can you explain me ? Or which aura should I run ?

Sitting at 5k ES which is probably pretty pathetic but it gets me through yellow maps for now. I'm wondering where I should focus on getting more and whether I should drop my amulet and try dealing with stuns in a different way.

Dps on sheet is 9k when standing in HO with buffs and goes up to around 20-28k during maps. Avg damage hovers around 5k with buffs in HO.

I'm not sure where to spend my chaos now and whether it'l help much or I'm missing something major. If I remove the second claw or the abyssus I feel like I'm loosing way too much dps. Any help would be appreciated, never even got past tier 1 maps before this league so I'm still learning a lot and I really want to get this character to Shaper even if it's a very rocky ride. Any advice is appreciated and thanks to this build I have gotten into PoE much more so thankyou!

Imo you dont really need abyssus for anything except T16/shaper. You you should focus on getting more es on gear and more accuracy. Aim for ~90% hit (you can also use some jewels for that) . 5k es with and abyssus is way too low for general mapping. You should also focus on getting the potions. All of the reduction comes from them. Get lion's roar and also witchfire brew in combination with a jade flask is great mitigation imo. Op's exact gear and tree is mostly focused on high end content, until you get there you can definately alter it a bit to feel more safe. Do all of the above and try gettign a 6 L and the build will feel a lot smoother for maps.
For now i'd also skip herald of ash and the mana potion, which also means one extra node from the tree since you won't need the mana reservation.You should also try getting a voidheart with a good poison roll.

What are the priorities for the gear?

Currently i'm 5 linked with none of the main pieces, but I'm approaching around 4-5ex in currency to get the next piece. I'm running with rives right now so I'm not sure voidheart would be the first upgrade.

Would it be fair to say that upgrades would be 6 link > Scourge > Voidheart > Scourge?

Voidheart first IMO. Voidheart is cheaper than going for 6L and gives a BIG dps increase. I've downed T16 Guardians with a 5L and no scourge claws yet.
