Hello and thank you for this wonderful build. I am not playing a lot this league (i hope it will change soon), but i decided to try Ascendant this time, as in previous league I was playing Pathfinder. I do not know how well it will work on higher levels as I have never gotten to endgame, but for now it feels like with less gear I am having easier time while mapping as my leech doesn't stop at full life and when i get hit there is no "no leech" moment that was killing me last league when I was still at low attack speed. I have created some skill tree with Ascendant's 128 points (i will NOT get to level 100 I'm sure, but still :P ) and it focuses a bit more on slots for Abyss jewel's which, as you mentioned, are insane. Do you have some optimized skill tree for Ascendant?

Hi , im just starting out this build and im very curious about what i should prioritise in looking for a rare wand . For example should i buy a high Ele dps(310-330) wand with all the stats except the global critical multiplier , or should i get a wand with low edps(170-200) and have the global crticical strike multiplier.

Got some great luck with drops/ corruption this league and builded a wander..i'm a bit more oriented on stacking jewel and for now this is my gear/tree...any advice on what update next ( beside obvious qotf that gave me a 2L atm :D)? (the 5 jewels alone bring my KB tooltip dps from 16k to 36k..i love em)

Well yeah but since it has no attack speed nor crit Chance i am not sure if its worth it

I actually play variante build as scion Raider/Slayer and for me its actualy BiS cause i can now use PW as curse on it instead of AM and PoB tell me its better.
Im ok i dont have AS on it but DPS was not about crit chance, get crit multi was a better choice (for my build ofc im not pathfinder)

What should my next upgrade be? I'm currently working on the enchants and I have a rats nest I'm working on, other than that whats next?



Also, do you think I have enough evasion on gear to drop one of my evasion flasks for a crit flask? Currently @ 49% evasion without using flasks

Ascendant?

One of my goal's that i hunt when league is dead/ boring, is leveling chars. to 100 and trying to improving them.

With that beeing sad, i tried to level scion further than 97 with various build's and wander-variation's.
And they sure can do really high DPS but the question is for how long and are mobility and defense high enough to get a smooth gameplay.

See, especially since more wander's pop up, the typical benchmark is tooltip/dps yet people tend do forget, the ramp up time to get all the buff's (like charge's,warcry and debuff's on the enemy) and also the duration of highest DPS that can be dealt at that time.

Same goes for defensive buff's like evasion from Jadeflask and/or movement speed.
Many tend to forget that there is no instant leech, so stuff like evasion etc. are more important than ever, unless you want to manually dodge stuff.

Since a lot of power no matter what asceandancy or build, comes from flask's, pathfinder will be a top-tier choice.

Also the Flask's, compared to other's, won't run out(next to the increased effect you get through beeing a pathfinder).

The only reason i could think of Scion's Slayer is playing around with vinktar and the retch to get some extra damage and that's about it.
Yet i was missing a comparable mobility and durabilty, so stopped leveling my scion ;)

Abyss item's

Obviously really powerful, you can implement Tombfist and use a Murderous Eye to get free Intimidated (which is 10%more damage).
For that use Kinetic Blast on the Helmet Slot and Drop Onslaught support gem.
OR drop Ice Golem and use the 4-link from the Boot's slot for Kinetic Blast.

For Belt's there is no other better option than the new base stygian vise.
I would stick to a rare, as getting enough resist's would be close to impossible.
Also i'd rather have 3DPS 1Life stat Jewel's than some with resist's.

Not sure where to bring this build. Im just getting one shot by everything. My crit chance seems super low w/o diamond up and i feel like my KB is lacking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How much crit chance should you have to make this work?
