Diablo III on PS4
This was strongly hinted at all along.
Who knows, it might actually be fun to play on console. If they do an offline version. Which they likely won't. But if they do, I'll play it. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |

But then you'd have to buy the game /again/. Or maybe if you were lucky and didn't buy it.
I had fun with it though, I won't deny that but I have problems with completing games too quickly. Cue GW2 and breezing through it too fast. |

" From what I can tell, GW2 has practically zero end-game aside from WvW, which I've heard gets pretty "meh" after a couple weeks. IGN: EmpathicAmoeba

This was by far the worst part of the presentation. The rest was pretty good. Killzone is looking better then crysis 3 on PC with max settings. And then there is the Luminous engine and Unreal engine 4 demo's, I really thought they were running on high end PC's when they first came out at E3. I can't wait for the PS4 tbh. But yeah, D3 was fucking hilarious, I can't wait for it to flop. Sony must of been crying when they realized how shit the game was and how it had completely failed on PC, the market it was made for.

" Its a good game no doubt. Really well made with love until Nexon reared its ugly head by buying some ~15% of NCSoft's shares. Some of the decisions made, particularly with the Black Lion Trading Post really strike me as Nexon and I would know as I played MapleStory. I would say that its the sort of game that people will appreciate taking their time to enjoy. Play it for the experience I suppose, not so much the end content. The joy in that game, much like it is here in Path of Exile, is in the journey and not the destination. That's a mindset many players don't have today unfortunately. Very much a result of our Generation Z want-results-now upbringing. " I would predict mediocre-average sales because of the backlash they had from releasing it on PC. Had they done a dual release, it would no doubt have been a stellar (commercial) success. Which is funny because their entire investment into the console market relies so heavily on people actually adopting the PS4 widespread. Wise decision? Short term - No. Long term - maybe. Corporate decision mind you, not for the benefit of the gamers. Dernière édition par Lyralei#5969, le 20 févr. 2013 à 20:51:02

" Some argue that it was made for console. At the very least, the console post was planned for in the design phase. not enough time for gaming!

Good move from Blizzard, they need to get known on the consoles so Titan can be a success.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Hopefully my flatmate will buy this. Could be fun on the PS3 with a more arcade style system.

Can't say I was shocked to see this happen. All the pieces were in place with the simplified design and all the crap that came with it.
I enjoyed the game at launch for about 5 months. It's been collecting dust on my hd ever since, and there hasn't been a reason to go back. I'm going to be uninstalling this tonight and won't be playing anything Blizzard related ever again. Maybe that makes me sound like a crybaby, I dunno. But I feel that they traded on the Diablo name for the greater good of the company's bottom line, and in the process lied to a lot (if not all- I can't speak for everyone) of their olde tyme fans. You know the saying- fool me once, FUCK YOU BLIZZARD. That is a saying, right? All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.

" I think it's obvious they made the game for consoles. The complexity of d1 and d2 is beyond the grasp of d3. They dumbed down the game so much it's painfully obvious. Storytelling, mechanics, art, dialog, gameplay... everything really. I feel like a real fool for buying this game :( So disappointed... |
