What were the prices in Essence for the following GG upgrades?

+1 Drillneck
+2 Barrage Helm (Devotos = $$$$$$$, but were there cheaper options?)

I am looking at Standard prices, and it's discouraging me - I would like to get the endgame bosses on farm with this build, and if that takes 30ex I don't know if I can farm that. But, I know that standard prices can be deceiving.

+1 and +2 are not needed they are just something that makes it even easier and something fun to shoot for.

From mid-to-end of league (didn't check prices near the beginning):

+1 Drillneck was about 5-7 ex
Dying Sun was 4 or 5 ex
Most alternate +2 Barrage helms were ES caster helms. I got a 40% Barrage Damage Devoto for 1 or 2 ex. You're better off sticking to an alternate Barrage affix or alternate skill roll on Devoto/Rat's Nest/Starkonja.

On the plus side, this build makes uber-Lab easy farming with full keys, so you can get plenty of chances to get it naturally as well as get good drops. Assuming you can put up with Lab farming.

As a sad side note, I initially was running Mathil's LA Ranger build, but decided early on to switch to this build. While I was trying to enchant my Rat's Nest for the Ranger, I hit +2 barrage at one point.

hi if you use acuities, you need a 2x 6L setup, and instead of void manipulation, you have to use a poison gem.

If you do this, will this give you a more durable build (even though dps might be lower?)

So I got Reach, Dying Sun, and +1 arrow Drillneck. Is that enough to do shaper? Or do I really need that super expensive +2 barrage enchant? D: Or would a 40% increased barrage damage enchant be sufficient?
