Gladiator reave bleed build? I think so!
I took a look at DanGun's passive tree, and I think I like this passive tree better.

The fortify buff is nice, but I'm not sure it's needed, especially with blasphemy enfeeble. I did, however, like the use of your chest. It must be a new one cause I never seen it before. I want one :P The only thing I see to change on the passive tree is maybe dual wielding instead of using a shield. Anything else I should do? (Using only one weapon, I think I will use reave, but if there is a better option, what is it? Other than viperstrike cause I will poison on hit against cursed enemies) (unless I decide to switch to dual wield, in which case it's either use an axe/mace, or dual strike. Which one would you guys go with?) |

And when I say the fortify buff is nice but not needed, I meant in the links for your main attack, as well as points for it in the passive tree. I use it in my movement skills.

I really really hate dieing at high levels so I tend to go more towards defense than offense, hence the permanent fortify as part of my main attack (I am also extremely lazy and don't like checking if my buffs are up, this way I can forget about it and know it is always up), the damage is more than enough as is, similar with life leech, I rather have too much than not enough. The current clear speed meta doesn't interest me much, I tend to take my time anyway, picking up eveyr little orb and scroll, so over the top damage is never my priority.
yeah, the chest is brilliant, the most expensive part of the build but it is really really nice in this build! :) |

With the chest I nolonger need to use viperstrike (tho, it is my all time fav skill in the game, and poison lasts longer with it) and, I may use, instead of enfeeble, temporal chains. Help increase the duration of things. But, eh. We will find out. I enjoyed talking. Ifni remember, I'll let you k ow how this build went.

hmmm that is a good point about temporal chains, never considered the plus-side of it extending the duration of poison and bleed.... will have to give it a try!
good luck :) |

If you want Bleed to be a major component of the damage dealt, you probably don't actually want multistrike...? Only one hit at a time bleeds, and with multistrike, every hit is wimpier. Investing in actual bleed nodes and then socketing in multistrike is just counter-productive. (I haven't looked at your tree yet but I assume you take some bleed damage or DoT nodes)
Melee bleed really likes earthquake + voidheart right now, but it seems like you don't want to go that way at all :P Dernière édition par codetaku#0468, le 29 juil. 2016 à 16:30:18

I am trying to avoid going with voidheart, because I want to reproduce this build in the future. Maybe. And yes, I know Multistike has "less damage", but without it clear speed would be bleh.

Even RT reave build can clear maps with lightning speed. Adding bleeding basically give you nothing bc of skill mechanic and sacrificing raw dmg for DoT only make you slower. Reaves AoE allows you to hit whole pack. Monsters dies in same time so w/e they explode or not.
This is the only good melee bleed build what i see in this game. REAL bleed build not tooltip warrior with 150k dps and bleed at top of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFqj6QQWw2s |

in my build I only use bleed to get all the 'deal extra damage against bleeding targets' type buffs, my main dot is poison, in which case stacking more poison dots with multistrike seems to work alright. I do agree with multistrike lowering the initial hit damage, but too many other things really benefit from multistrike, like life gain on hit from claws etc, so works out well.
Tried another build with voidheart, and deffo avoiding anything that reduces damage there and going for the biggest initial hit possible, both work well, different playstyles |
