Lacerate aiming.
" Multistrike does well with weapon that has high APS and stacking a good amount of attack speed (faster attacks and attack speed nodes), and enough it will to a good extent speed up the animation from the drawback multistrike brings. In that sense to some extent be able to control the skill. As much I as I want to avoid using Multistrike with Lacerate, Concentrated effect cuts the AoE down a bit too much. The other option would be WED since I am already using added fire with HoA. :\ Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

It would also NOT be possible to change it in the setting, as the actual calculation is serverside.
I think it is quite reasonable that there are supports that aren't used by every skill in every situation. If only because it's not possible (looking at spell echo). Zaanus:

I'm also despising this design decision. It just feels like such an arbitrary and unfair way to mitigate a skill.
One of the worst design decisions in a fast paced ARPG like PoE is to remove control from the player without a very good reason behind it. The auto-aim on lacerate does exactly that. It inhibits the skills potential and ruins the ability of the player to choose their own positioning and concentrate damage in a specific direction. There have been many times where on maps positioning is irrelevant because 2 monsters end up walking in from different sides when I'm engaging a pack causing my lacerate to go everywhere except where I want it to. A major example of this being unfair is on the Malachai fight. The constant flow of adds make lacerate go all over the place and almost never hit Malachai. This is exceptionally brutal on merciless difficulty where keeping him at range is usually a good idea so that you don't get melted. I'm personally glad I played my lacerate build on SC because I had not died until that fight due to me being unable to keep him at range and being unable to build flask charges because not even the adds were dying due to inability to concentrate the abilities damage to aspecific spot. I'm sorry for the rant but GGG really needs to see why this auto-target mechanic is an awful idea. Dernière édition par ColorCharge#6004, le 15 juil. 2016 à 01:02:08

" Auto-aim is on Multistrike, not on Lacerate, remove Multistrike and the control is back in your hands. Sunder and maybe Ground Slam also benefit from manual aiming, so when playing Sunder I skipped multistrike. That's good kind of choice, it's a factor you can't easily express in numbers so you decide on what you see for yourself, not what someone tells you. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
