BUG: Chaos Innoculation + Purity + Blood Magic

As title says, if your skill tree contains Chaos Innoculation and you use Purity aura with Blood Magic you instantly die.

Please fix that, that is for me a major bug. This skill combo should say "not enough mana/life" or just not work.

If you have a skill that costs 100% of your Mana, you can cast that assuming you have a full Mana bulb. It will leave you with zero Mana.
Purity + Blood Magic works exactly the same way. You pay 98% of your Life to cast the Aura. 98% of 1 rounds up to 1. You have enough Life to afford that! It leaves you with zero Life, which, sadly, does not bode well for your Exp Bar.

Working as intended.

It is not right that you kill yourself as long as it is not a special skill named "selfkill". IMO, it doesnt work as intended.

It should be only possible to be killed by an enemy, not by a combination of skills you use.

Have you ever played Diablo 1 or 2? You could kill yourself IN TOWN by having just a little pint of life and un-equipping some items which gave you +life.
If you're creative enough you could come up with some really detrimental skill combos (try Chaos Inoculation + Eldritch Battery on hardcore for max challenge). It's not the game, it's just you. Read skill description next time (or at least ask before use).

Well I prefer games forcing a player to think, well each to its own.

but it shouldn't round it, if it takes 40% of 1, it should take 0.4. it's the way energy shield works...
Yes, I have played Diablo 1 2 years. But what does it have to do with PoE? Why must you compare two games having almost 20 years between them? If I say my new BMW runs out of gas after 500 km would you ask me about a Trabant from 1990?

The problem is: It should not be possible to use a skill killing the character on use. Why is it not possible to use an aura with a fixed mana cost value? In the same way it should not be possible to use a by percentage reserved mana aura.

The flat-reserve Aura costs hundreds of Life; you only have 1. You cannot afford to cast it.
The percent-reserve costs 1 Life, which you do have.

@ivl: ES is also rounded? You can't have 0.6 ES, you can't have 0.6 Life.

it doesn't show it, but if you have 1 energy shield and 50% increase on an item, it will treat it like 1.5 in the calculations, it's the reason why excel calculations are quite often off by a low value of 3-4 energy shield

PoE rounds all flat values at the end of the calculation. Take 1 damage, and you're not left with 0.5 ES, but with one or zero, depending on rounding. The same goes for Life. You try to reserve 40% of your Life, it gets rounded and you die.
