Melee Splash, Slayer Feedback.

There was a lengthy post about the Impact node by Mark_GGG here. I agree that this node is pretty underwhelming, but imo this is true for the whole Slayer class. And I'm not even a sucker for most efficient playstyle. :\
Thanks for the link, wish i knew about that post sooner.

Now that i know that it looks like ill be selling my Marohi and probably rethinking my entire build.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Labyrinth salt farm miner.

"But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years.
Yes, Endless Hunger requires certain investments, but the resulting effect is AMAZING.
Impact is great even for just 20% AoE radius. I dont even use that "melee splash" in my build.

I never regretted picking Slayer.
Slayer is a perfect example of a pretty balanced class.

Champion, on other hand, provides amazing benefits without any investments. He is an example of poor balance, and he's obviously overpowered.

That goes the same for most of the Ascendancy classes. If GGG planned on having the Ascendancy classes be "amazing benefits without any investments" to a very good extent, then Slayer failed to meet the expectation.

Champion aint the only one that can make you OPOP. It just happens to be an ascendancy class that can benefit almost every build there is in the game, so there is more flexibility.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

I just wish the GGG rebalances the Brutal Fervor / Headsman a bit.

Slayer tree means that you always commit to a 4 point branch one way or another, unlike all ascendancy classes out there, so ascendancy points on the way there are mandatory (be it Headsman or Brutal fervor).

And you have to commit to one 4 point branch at least meaning you lose the flexibility of spending your points.
They really need to be stronger since some 2 point ascendancies are downright amazing (Far shot / Ambush / Occultists 2 pointers) and even Inquisitor who has one of the strongest 4 point branches has good 2 point branches (Augury of penitence is awesome :3).

Compared to Liege of Primordial for example who can give a whooping 80% fire damage while golem is up the Brutal Fervor node is just sad.
