There have been several revisions to the original post, could someone from GGG clarify what it is that they are changing as it's not obvious what is specifically being altered. Is it just minor typos or revising of proposed changes?

For Gods' sakes, can we just get a setting to turn off particle effects on enemies -- I don't care if these 62 fucking zombies are shocked or burning or proliferating a chill, I just want a frame rate that I can't count on one hand. Also: weather effects. I would prefer the additional 10 fps, thank you. I just don't understand what development mentality is driving the decision to add more and more ground and particle and environmental effects to the game when you KNOW how awful your engine is. You KNOW how bad it is, and you keep overloading it with totally superfluous effects that your users have basically no way of avoiding -- it's so mind-bogglingly disrespectful to the people trying to actually play your game. |
