i play on hc, and lost 2 chars to this freezes, today on one of masters quest i did got timer, and did watch how time switched from 59 to 54 in one freez, almost died again. its hard when on every single new zone i get 3-5sec freez on 1st combat. | |

Can you please run the PoE client with both --nopreload and without it after deleting/renaming the Client.txt?
Post the results of the new Client.txt file in a Spoiler tag so we can see what is going on. There should be no reason that adding --nopreload fixes any connection issues unless you have some other PC problem that is somehow causing the client to abort connection due to load times (not that I've seen as a common problem). Might also be worth it to try running the GGPK Defrag application linked in the Consolidated Technical sticky post if you do NOT use Steam. Might help shave some time off the initial load time and might even prevent the problem you are having completely. | |
