That's the whole idea/intention. Sites won't have to dabble with countless currencies anymore, instead just selling gold, smoother + faster. Overall, an interesting(in a positive way) business move, we'll see how it plays out. Not so interesting for the players, tho :(

Personally, I was hoping for the new currency to be character-bound(or maybe account-bound) in order to intensify character developing/building mechanics compared to time invested. The more time you spend playing it, the more rewarded you get. Would have been a similar mechanism to diablo's paragon levels, just a tad different and inventory consuming, but hey... Everything must be overcomplicated in PoE it seems, so got used to it already.

Aw man, this doesn't help with the hype and doubts of creating a new solid class/build to help others endgame with the challenges. Had so much fun with community with current league! Any Ideas on a strong class/build that can carry people assuming we have tough challenges?

Path of Exile is looking incredible. Can't wait to play this!

How long will this league last?

Just hoping this time we don't get too many "paid challenges", since there must be a lot of great exploring content coming with the expansion.
