umm i don't think CI gives u a base 50 % chance to avoid stunn

If i remember right it calculates the chance to be stuned off the HP u "would" have if u had not taken the CI node. since most CI users ( well all of them in fact ) take no life then they have to deal with the low stunn chance.

The 50% stun avoidance has nothing to do with CI. Though it's more relevant to CI users because of what you mention.

Edit: Although, none of the previous posts link CI with 50% stun avoidance. So I'm not sure where you came upon that idea?

Seems like a great node for close range casters if its rolled at the beginning of each cast, as youd be able to force casts out no matter how surrounded or stunlocked you became. Otoh, if its rolled for each instance of incoming damage thats capable of causing stun, then its just an oversized avoid stun node that doesnt function when youre not casting.

If its the latter, it might be a good idea to spread 3 more around the upper area of the tree at some point. Alternatives to unwavering stance and eye of chayula would be most welcomed for int based caster builds.
