They have let us know that they have had "millions" of accounts made. And "less than 5% of players reach maps." This is an issue that would not bother players until later levels. I have never seen the stats about people quitting between level 50 - 75 :(

I think GGG likes it this way. This is certainly not news to them.


It would be nice to inform (warn!) potential future players, though. It always makes me think of Hunger Games. "May the odds ever be in your favor." We know they are not.


This. Don't change anything, but stop with the misinformation of "Don't use Vorici, you can get a 6L".
NO, some of us simply CAN'T. That's a reality and I don't think I'm a Unicorn.

Who knows how many potential new players you have kicked out of this game, because of this false statement.

"IF you are a new player ALWAYS use Vorici. Attempting a 6L should be for experienced players only."

I mean after 4 years I know what's going on and I really hope till this day that I might get an 6L for the achievement. But just try to walk in the shoes of a new player who farms 150 fusings and doesn't even get a 5L. They will just QUIT the game.

Meh, they should just increase the chance for a six link on the item that you started to use fusings by a fair amount after using 2000 and never let you to spend more than 4500-5000 for that goddamn 6 link, so that way you'll have the option to use a more costly alternative comparing to the medium 1200 fusings requiered and always succed - Vorici for 1500 seems fair as an arbitrary value - but you'll then have lots of people actually "crafting" the item to the highest amount of links and sockets with more reliability...

Bad RNG as an underwhelming experience should stop, especially regarding the gambling system they intend to use instead of crafting...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...

Moasie spent over 3700 fusings today on his stream trying to 6L a Shavs. Nadda. Go check his Twitch it's all there. I've had pretty shitty luck this league too and we started talking, and most people were saying the same thing. Maybe GGG manipulates that RNG on a league basis. Because last league I 6L like 4 things, all around 300-500, it felt so easy I was like Ima 6L err thing...

Welp, it's RNG on RNG on RNG... Nothing you can do about it. If you don't like it, stay away from ARPGs as a whole. I will admit though, that when it comes to RNG, POE is king. And some of that RNG is also completely unnecessary and out of whack.

Want to have less issues with RNG? Play the trading game, let others pay for your 6 link. When you got it, and your character wrecks all the things, you can live the illusion of being a godlike existance, eventhough you know that skill had nothing to do with it.

Don't take it personally. I am just messing with you a little bit, but only a little, actually.

2) The more chances/scouring you use on item the higher chance for rare/unique for the next chance.


I would be so happy if they implemented this kind of mechanic.

Pretty solid suggestion, works great as it seems capped around a value 3 times larger than the fixed Vorici one...

Would make crafting to feel more like crafting instead of gambling...
