Linked Steam Account Characters Deleted

Until then i don't link poe with my new steam account right?
Also i will contact with my new email account. (because if i had my old i could find my old steam password...) I remembered my steam account so now i hope i have my chars. I see them on forum lets hope they are also in game:)

I've deleted my characters on accident with this method. I sent an email to support, and posting here just in case.

I just made a thread about me deleting my steam stuff without noticing this thread was here, oops. I've contacted support and posting here just because.

I wasn't paying close attention when it said It would delete my characters when I linked through steam and clicked yes. Is there anyway I can get my characters back?

I misunderstood and thought it would remove the old characters from the original account, not from the Steam one.
Could I also get the magic fix that brings back my old Steam characters? :) (I'm not sure if this is the proper way to request such things, sorry for the bother if it isn't) |

I've restored your account. You can log log into your main account by using the 'Sign in through STEAM' button on the login page: http://pathofexile.com/login For any account related issues, including Steam issues like this, it's a great idea to contact support@grindinggear.com with your account name and a few character names, so we can look into it. :) | |

uh, same story here. didnt understand what it meant by deleting. clicked through. would like my account magically restored too. thanks
