The Intuitive Leap Jewel is actually garbage

It is garbage IF its use is as you put it.

But lets say you have a point heavy build. Saving 3 points might mean the difference between being able to get an important notable and not being able to somewhere else on the tree.

Remember that it costs a point to activate the slot. We'll have to wait and see if it matters or not.

And youre not considering that you can also slot in better rare jewels with up to 4 nodes worth of stuff instead.

I find it hard to believe that GGG hasn't account for such simple things. If any rare jewel is better than intuitive leap then what's the point of it existing in the first place? We are all just speculating here but I really find it hard to believe that this thing will be worthless..
To me it seems that if your build needs certain keystones this thing will be insane. If you slot anything else in there you'll have to travel to get the nodes. It seems a matter of choice but I still believe it will be insane (and rare)

Another thought - these jewels could make the +1 skill point bandit rewards much more valuable than the others.

but generally speaking the things on the way to these notable passives are ... useful.


there are some exceptions , but ggg did a decent job eliminating alot of the garbage filler nodes

It looks like the stuff on the way to these jewel passives are mostly just +10 stat nodes.

Illuvatar is correct btw, this jewel will see it's purpose fulfilled on lvl 90+ builds.

Lets say your passive tree ends somewhere near a jewel location, this jewel might allow you to gain a maximum benefit of the end of your tree at lvl 90+ by being able to pick up only the big notables that give a good % bonus efficiency.

It's pretty much crap in all other situations thought since it roughly only saves you 1 or 2 passive points in total. But like stated, these are precious at 90+.

Also factoring in the fact that you are slotting this jewel and not just a rare one which would give stats without needing to spend additional passive points.

But, that's why we have a beta huh? This is all just speculation about things that are not finalized yet and as such redundant.
