How do you deal with accuracy as templar/marauder?

So, i'm going to try the new lighting gem with a templar build, but i'm so tired of RT, and there are some Maces nods with elemental damage and crit chance very chose, but every time i've try to do some melee out of this guy it seems he miss a lot!! (even against hillock lol)

So how do you people handle a crit melee character on the left side of the tree? do i get as many dextery passives (wich are not a lot) and %accuracy nodes in the way?? accuracy rating in gear?? Or do i send all to hell and get RT??

Same goes for a Wand Witch, but in this case i can think on going to the shadow side of the tree...

Can someone give me a clarification of this??
Dex/Acc nodes are a good start, and flat Acc from gear is fantastic; the latter is one of the bigger factors in my experience. (Quality) Added Accuracy Support is also a solid option, naturally; cheap to boot.
Around 250+accuracy on gear should help a lot. Also, the marauder has quite a reputation of missing a lot of attacks on twilight strand. I kid you not.

Other than that, accuracy should not be too difficult to get. If you want to go crit based, then you will most certainly be investing nodes in shadow area, which has tons of dex. Every sceptre crit build that I know of will go to shadow due to crit nerfs on left side of tree.

Good luck :D
For try, for see, and for know.

If you don't visit the right portion of the tree, your best bet is to simply use the added accuracy gem with a few %acc nodes.

The quality gives critical chance so it's a very solid gem investment for crit builds.

If you visit the right side, get some acc% and some flat accuracy rolls on gear.

It depends where you want to sacrifice btw, either in gem slots (acc gem) or in gear (flat acc rolls) or in passive investment (nodes).

thanks for the replys, i get a good idea of how to work around accuracy and crits, i think i'll the next day playing with the tree to see what fits best... omg there are a lot of nodes i want to take XD all +% shock chance, elemental dmg, elemental damage with weapons, mace dmg, amor, life, block chance (there is not a lot in the way i want to go)

Items like this.

Coupled with some Accuracy nodes that are "natural" to take (like an accuracy node before a damage notable), and you're set.
Even with almost no Dex, I usually get to 85%+ Chance to Hit pretty easily.

all my crit melee (maces) builds use this item. it is extremely powerful - it is a non-dagger crit dream item: flat acc (more crit), crit chance (more crit), mana (more aspd), mana leech (more aspd) and that power charge trick that REALLY pays of

mace like this and i have a VERY fun crit ground slam mara.

new tree however.. sucks admirably in acc/crit area for left side of the tree. so better pick a dagger and forget about this weird concept
Wow, nice ring, i didn't know about it... i'll give it a try, but i think i should start with something easier to farm and get some currency :P

Wanders will typical use the Additional Accuracy support gem. The additional benefit there is that if you have a quality one, it will also give you a boost to crit chance as well.

besides that flat accuracy, does that ring actually help accuracy though ? yeah it helps you to get a crit by generating power charges by itsef...but crit depends on you actually hitting stuff in the first place, doesnt it ?
