Dumb Question:
Ice Shot coverts 40% the physical damage into cold damage and does 120% of base weapon damage. Does that mean that the initial hit does 48% cold and 72% physical damage to the initial target and 48% cold damage in AOE? Or 48% cold and 72% physical damage during both the initial hit and in AOE? There are a lot of skills like this (X% converted and a secondary effect), but the wiki isn't clear. |

Vaal pact is definitely worth it but bloodrage becomes a bit of a degen issue since you lose all the % regen you have by taking pact. If you dont find mobs fast enough you start to dig in to your flask's I'll probably stick with vaal pact and just dump blood rage the attack speed dps increase is ok but not worth the chugging flask's over. Pact seems to keep my mana in a better state too and the life leech is much more efficient.

How can I get frenzy charges?

" Dunno, but it works well. It's specially useful when you run into reflect mobs, because if they reflect physical you can hit them with iceshot. And if they reflect elemental you can hit them with frenzy. Plus it stuns and freezes. My tooltip shows me doing mostly cold damage. Hi guys, I just managed to get my hand on a 5L Bow.
As soon as I added WED to the socket, I faced a very serious mana issue. (my TS cost went from 20 to 31 per attack.) My current leech rate is 4% and I used to be able to run without any mana flask. Should I try to increase more leech? |

" My TS costs only 22 but I can sustain it even on single target with 7 frenzy charges only with 0.8% leech so maybe your dmg is low? |

Also NeverSink suggests "Physical to Lightning" as 5th gem (I havent tested the dps I still run 4L on warband) which has 110% multiplier while WeD had 150%.
