Hello, NeverSink,

Are you sure we have to kill everyone in Cruel and avoid getting the 16% more physical damage bonus by helping Oak? If yes, could you explain my why? I ask this because everyone's helping Oak in Cruel nowadays.

Thanks in advance for the great build!
(Still waiting for a Pierce version of it which's gonna be amazing, for sure.)

I didn't see this answered. This does seem like a lot of physical damage to give up for a passive point. Anybody have some feedback on this? Thank you.

Same here, I'll be helping Oak in Cruel because it's 6% more IPD than I can get from adding a single passive point somewhere on the tree.

Not true. Master Fletcher for example adds 24% increased phys damage. There are a lot of other good damage nodes available, such as Heavy Draw/Deadly Draw, all better than the 16% phys reward.

The 'Projectile' naming doesn't show on any bow skill anymore, check TS/Split Arrow etc.
I think it has been replaced by 'Bow'. LMP/GMP still affects it.
I believe I've tried linking it with LMP and it still shot one projectile, because the support gem only applies to ''projectiles'' and iceshot is now classified as an attack.
This is patently not correct. I just sat outside town and used LMP+IS and it shot 3 projectiles. Removing LMP, it shoots only 1 projectile - as expected.
You're right. I just tested it again. Phew. My bad.
Hello,

as a duelist, it is possible to connect to the defensive tree with only 2 points.

What is better for the defensive build?

9% attack speed, 12% accuracy

or

26% inc phys dam, +14max Life

Yeah but you cant get those nodes without getting other nodes first and most of the good ones are already gotten in the build.

Sure Avatar of the Hunt is 24% phys dmg for a "single" node and isnt included in the build, but requires 1 dex node, 1 12% dmg node and 1 acc or 2 10% dmg nodes to get. Master fletcher is even worse than that.

On another note, has anyone considered running Warlord's mark on CoH setup? After 2.0 damage hardly seems to be the problem for most people but survivability is and manual casting EC is awkward and slow. Not great against single target bosses but should help at least with reflect and to fuel CWDT-IC properly.

Warlord's Mark is definately a great option to build Endurance Charges, plus you get a lot of extra leech from the cursed enemies. If you don't need the extra damage from Assassin's Mark, I'd say go for it. I ran it for a while in 1.3 for the extra leech, and I'm considering running it again in 2.0 for the endurance charges.

Can I play like the video with this build?

Can I clear maps like the video with this build?

How can I get frenzy charges?

What aura do you recommend?

updata 2.0 pls
2.0 is definitely a great step up in difficulty, prior to the patch I was cakewalking virtually all maps with only the standout bosses being somewhat challenging depending on map mods (crema boss, piety, dominus). Post patch is another story even gearing more defensively. I have dropped any herald and am running grace and hatred for like 25k evasion, would love to get my hands on a Hyrri's Ire but I am guessing they are gated much higher.

Besides dropping the heralds and always running grace, for cursing I dropped assassin's mark for projectile weakness to push the enemies back some (also have the notable crit passive for this) and will be using max level enfeeble once I spec into an int node. I will be looking to get an l21 grace and Kaom's Heart chest as life is king with 2.0. Grabbed VP as it is on the way as well as some aura nodes to help offset the reduced mana -> enlighten .

I consider my build to be fairly strong defensively but last night Zana opened up the new Poorjoy's Asylum which is now a lev 73 ... WOW, 4 deaths on that map, didn't even get to the boss...

4. Frenzy isn't that much stronger against bosses, since TS often hits the boss 3 times, against the 1 frenzy hit. Check this vid for a test

It doesn't in 2.0. That is included in the shotgun affects that got removed. TS will NOT hit one target more than once anymore. They confirmed this, the video is no longer accurate. Split Arrow CAN hit the same target more than once with chain in the linking, assuming it hits two targets...that is why everyone in the beta believes split/chain is now better than TS.

You will need a single target attack now....Frenzy with PCoC is probably the best choice.

5. I find TS to be a much saver way to kill bosses, because it doesn't require pefrect aim all the time. Plus on bosses that have adds I don't want to use 2 attacks in order to kill everything.

GGG does...and you're going to have to for max clear
