Unable to connect to patching server (2)

Client are unable to connect to patching sever after patch, but when i turn firewall of, it does work well. I have rules for PoE.exe and other files, so it worked before. But what is that new connection, that my firewall blocks?
Even if i turn it off, it will block login server, so i cant login. But if i turn off firewall, login, then turn it on, it works ok.

Question is: How can i make rule for firewall, if theres no .exe i could create rule for.
it should be PathOfExile.exe and you might have to remove and then re-add the rule.
upd:
No, firewall does block connection in game too.

I've tryed to remove all rules and write new, didnt help me.

P.S. Yes, its PathOfExile.exe

This is gonna sound dumb, but i did this and simple Pc reboot helped. Magic.

I wonder if ur firewall is the same as my
There's a reason I don't use a software firewall... that's basically it.

Software acts up way too often, and they cause all sorts of issues. I understand why some people run them, but I find them more hassle than they're worth.

To be honest, if you use a Router and do NOT enable the DMZ, you're generally protected from anything getting into your network. The routers generally have their own built-in firewall. As long as you didn't set up any application forwarding or port forwarding, and have NOT enabled the DMZ, then the router won't let anything pass through that wasn't initiated from the client site.

That means that the only ports that will be transferred are ones that are sent OUT from the PC first and have established a connection. In the majority of these cases, with a properly configured router, the firewall software on your PC is pretty much useless and only gets in the way (this thread is Exhibit A).

I'm not saying you need to get rid of the firewall or anything... but you might not exactly need it either.

Good luck.
