Doesn't this mean Tabula Rasa + Vaal Orb potentially means a randomly rolled 6L? If you get crap rolls, that stinks, but it does mean you can use Tabula Rasa to potentially obtain really powerful items (and technically, a rerolled Tabula Rasa outclasses its previous form, even with shit stats).

Hello Alpha player.
Tabula Rasa has a hidden unique mod called "Has 6 white links"
When a Vaal orb turns a unique into a rare item it removes the unique mods FIRST, then roll random rare mods. Doing so, TB loses its 6 links, but in the same time random mods are rolled there are also random sockets/colors and links who are rolled.
Result : Random ES chest with random mods and random socket combinations, it can be a 1 socket or 2, it can be 2L or 6L.
And this applies to any unique, not just TR. Example: Kaom's Heart can roll 6 sockets if and only if it becomes a rare.

More informations:
A vaal orb has three outcomes:
1. Good ones: Keep all the good things from your item while adding to it random cool stuff like white sockets, 5/6 links, a different implicit mod like : +1 to level of gems/+1 to vaal gems/adds one additional arrow/cast one more curse/+1 max resists/+1 max E/P/F charges/ cast on crit/ ..
2. Bad ones: Reroll everything links sockets and colors(none will be white), prefixes suffixes and if its a unique it's going to downgrade to a rare.
3. Bad that can be good: Any unique who turns into a 6L rare.

for your reference, to clear up any confusion of people thinking they know things, I just vaal orbed a tabula and it rolled rare. so it is possible to lose tabula.
