Blood magic + chaos inoculation + aura's?
So, blood magic, you cast with hp and with chaos inoculation, you only have 1 HP but immune to chaos damage.
So, under normal circumstances, if you have no energy shield, if you cast a spell you die. My question is this though: Most aura spells take a % of your mana. So, maybe 30% to sustain. This would mean it takes 30% of your hp instead. 30% of 1HP is .3333 hp, does your HP round back up to 1 while sustaining this aura? So, in other words, could I just put up 7 auras since after I cast each one my HP would return back up to 1 and then run around and just auto attack with 7 auras on? I haven't had a chance to try this but I'm curious if anyone else has any theory crafting about this idea. |

percentages round up, so the 30% would round up to 1 and kill you when you cast the aura

What if you were to equip an item with an effect that reduces a percentage of your max hp (such as a number of uniques) while you have the CI passive? does anyone know what would happen in that case?

" %'s less than 1, round up to 1 so you would kill yourself if you had CI. Also there are mana potions that use a part of your life to restore mana; these will also kill you when you have CI. |

CI does not care for your percentage stats. It either kills you or doesn't hit your health.

" Isn't the norm to round down if it's, say, 0.4 or less and round up if it's 0.5 or higher? If this were the case I assume it wouldn't kill you as long as the total % of hp reduced doesn't go higher than 40%. |

With life regeneration jewels and armour can be inbatible, if life it's 1 it's always regen :)
