Steam account transfer possible??

No you cannot.

You CAN however have support link your Steam account to a Classic account as well (the same account, the just put an email and password on it for login purposes on the Classic client).

Just email support and ask to have your Steam account linked so it works in both the Steam and Classic client. Include all relevant information for them to make the process easier... this includes email address, steam information, and any characters on the account (name, class, level if possible).

Be patient as they have a bit of a backlog, but they can get the account straightened out for you so you will be able to play the same account and characters through either Steam or Classic PoE clients.

You might want them linked anyway.. a lot of people do. It gives you more options. It's also not really a hassle to link the account. You literally just send them an email with the information I told you, and in about 5 to 7 days, your accounts are linked.

The other option (if you want to remove your current Steam account) is to have the original steam account unlinked, and then link your current Classic account to Steam instead. Support can also do that. Again, you just have to email them and be clear and descriptive about what you want the desired outcome to be (include all account information for clarity). That includes both the Steam account information (and characters) as well as the Classic account information (and characters).
