New ranger gem please, rapid fire

Dear GGG,
I feel the ranger is missing one very important gem. The class needs a rapid fire type gem. A gem that allows you to shoot 2 or 3 arrows in consecutive order at separate mobs. Upon reaching higher levels within the gem it works its way up to shooting 5 or 6, or of course make a supporting gem that will allow it to do this. Ergo, giving the ranger a machine gun type effect with arrows. I think I can speak for us all when I say this is a very gratifying visual to see your ranger spamming arrows. Kind of like, I believe it was called rapid fire, in diablo 2. Thank you :)

Also please make cyclone channeled and follow your mouse pointer instead of going in a straight line from point A to point B.

AKA: Diablo 2 - Amazon Class - Strafe

-Rapid Fire sounds a lot like Faster Attacks to me.
-Rapid Fire doesn't hint well enough at the multi-target aspect of the concept, imo.
-I would definitely be interested in trying an attack similar to Strafe.
-I would also definitely be interested in trying a support gem that enables auto target variation.

Might be interesting, a channeled, ranged version of multistrike. I'd make the penalty on it more interesting, though. It only makes sense damage on it would have a dropoff similar to point blank due to not having the time to draw the bow fully.

Rapid fire

Stand in place and fire a constant stream of projectiles that take a sharp damage drop in regards to distance travelled.

70% damage effectiveness

1% increased attack speed per 1% quality

100% more attack speed + 1% per gem level
50% less damage to far away targets

The only snag is weaker GPUs will die on the spot if this gets used with LA.

YES, that is it, Strafe. Thank you perfect_black. I loved that skill in diablo 2. That's all I need to really really excite me about this game. Not that I am not already hehe.
