Microtransaction Prices?

I Dont Know if its just me but these prices seem a bit high.

15$ for a black cat? 25$ for arctic weapon effect?

I never saw them as a "price". When I donated my $20 it was because I liked the game and thought they'd earned 20 bucks from me. The stash tabs I got wasn't the point. I wasn't "paying for stash tabs". I was "playing fair with GGG".

I'd pay 50 for that cat. That thing is just adorable

You're right. I personally will never give GGG a cent for those over priced microtransactions.


Though if I am being serious it is more of an added bonus for supporting a free game than anything else. If you play the game and like it just donate twenty bucks if you have it to spare and don't worry about the transactions that are $90. Those are there to look flashy for people who have generously donated hundreds (and in some cases thousands) of dollars.

There are some cheap microtransactions as well. If you are still a student and have a parttime job, I think the following 1 or 2 dollar deals are very obtainable:

0.5 $ = weta pet
1.0 $ = water nova effect
1.5 $ = giant weta pet, green frog pet, scorpion pet, emerald rain of arrows, white cyclone, blue cyclone, blue flame incinerate (personally love this one), turquoise weapon effect
2.0 $ = red frog pet, emerald weapon effect
2.5 $ = blue frog pet, ivory scorpion pet, green searing bond, lavender weapon effect

If you support the game for a measly 5 dollars, you can already obtain some of the aforementioned.

This. I dont see it as "pay $x for ___ item"...more of a "Im supporting this game which is a rather big hobby of mine (and still cheaper than some hobbies for what Ive donated), and oh look, I can pick from some neat trinkets that look cool". Ive never donated for the purpose of any specific micro, except maybe the first $20 for the stash tab bundle.

I also see this as donations, but from a students point of view i feel still dumb for buying some flashy effects for >10$.

Can´t speak for all, but i would buy more points and trade them in if most stuff would be in 0,5-5$ range. Specially stash tabs...never..can..have..enough.
