Help Please: Lag Spikes and Desync w/ Mac

Hi all, I'm a fairly new player to PoE, and first of all, I'm a huge fan. This is hands down one of the best games I've played in the past 12 years. I really want to become deeply engaged in the game, but I've run into a little problem.

I play on Mac and currently use the Mac wrapper, Wineskin 2.5.8, to play. When I play, I use bare minimum graphics options in PoE, yet I still have lag spikes and desyncs constantly while I play, especially in groups. It has come to the point where I can't even group, because I will find myself lagging in one spot while my party members have already killed the mobs and moved on.

I know that ideally, Mac isn't the greatest OS to game on, but I use my computer for more than gaming. Plus it's all that I have at the moment. Out of all the online games that I have played on this Mac, I have never experienced anything like this. Please help me resolve this issue if you can. Here's my specs:

Mac OS X 10.8.3
Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
195.42 GB free out of 289 GB

P.S. It is not package loss either. I'm at 0.0%.

those drivers are on the low end even if it wasnt having to emulate as well.
try updating the drivers regardless. follow all the rules with any security/firewall software (add exceptions) .

You are not the only one, I have the same issues (except that i play throught parallel desktop)

@Jerger My drivers are updated and I don't have firewall on. Problem still persists. I believe this issue may be on GGG's end.
