Sound effect problems after patch

Hi,
I have a sound problem after latest patch 0.10.7. Some sound effects are missing. For Split arrow and Decoy totem I hear nothing in terms of effect. Anybody have this issue with various effects? Any suggestions how to deal with the problem? Thanks |

I have not noticed the sound effects for skills missing, but there are things(sounds)the character should say that are missing. Like upon certain levels, and entering certain areas.

Can you please run a Pack Check: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/18531 If that completes fine, which I assume it should, can you then please try adding --softwareaudio to your .exe. But I'm having the same problem as Andreus. All of my sounds work fine, EXCEPT for the player character voices. They play fine during character creation, but not while playing. Pack Check returned no errors, and softwareaudio had no effect. |

Thanks for tips, but problem is still there.
Did the PackCheck, had no errors. Modified the target for .exe, but still no sound for various effects. Reinstalled the game, no fix though. What a drag. |

Oh, that's right: I reinstalled the game too, and that didn't fix the character voices either.

I have the same issue with my characters - when they enter areas and there should be some voice acting there is nothing...and I really like those parts :)
Please advise how to fix? |

Since this started after 0.10.7, and the 0.10.7 notes mention something about changing the character voices, my guess is it will be fixed in 0.10.8. But until then, you're missing out on a new player since my friend has said the main reason he wants to play this game is so he can be Scottish.
