You're minding your own business, perusing league announcements to see if anything catches your eye. Skills trees on gear? Seems interesting. Stronger mastery passives? Maybe you'll try a new archetype to make use of them. Then you see it, a bow with no stats of its own. Some say it's garbage, but you know there must be something that can be done with it. You look through unique quivers, finding nothing of interest. You switch your focus to rare mods, and you find the solution. Why does your bow need damage when you get 35 cold damage per frenzy charge? All that's left to do is fill the other 5 mods.... Scaling

We scale flat damage, and as much projectile speed as we can. Our helmet also provides us far shot. We use barrage support, as each arrow fired creates its own cone. We also take the mastery that grants 15% more projectile speed, allowing us to reach absurd amounts of projectile speed.
Why projectile speed? Bows now have a mastery that makes projectile speed modifiers apply to damage. Additionally, Galvanic Arrow's AoE is affected by modifiers to Projectile Speed. The Gear

In addition to the flat damage provided by the quiver (even more because of the synthesized base), we also get a lot from the Projectile Speed and Damage With Bow Skills. In total, this quiver provides: - 54 Base cold damage per frenzy charge - 203 Projectile Speed - 150 Damage with Bow Skills - 332 Life - 119 Chaos Res - 45 Cold Res (This one makes me sad...) Since we've taken the 15% more projectile speed we get the following: Increased Damage = (150 + (203 * 1.15)) = 383 Increased AoE = (203 * 1.15) = 233 Path of Building

More projectile speed doesn't apply for either Galvanic arrow area of effect nor as additional projectile damage. Only additive modifiers such as increased and decreased count.
