Issue with alt-tabbing

Hi there, I have a problem when I alt tab out of PoE.
So when I alt-tab out I have a black screen for like 2-3seconds. I'm wondering how or if it's possible to fix. I have had a similar problem before however in that game there was an option where you could turn off "Exclusive mode" which would make alt-tabbing happen instantly. Hope someone can help me, thanks. Perhaps try playing it fullscreen windowed mode - just maximise the client to the screen.
i know it doesn't give a reason for it doing so, but its a way around it currently. Fullscreen mode has issues with alot of players currently. Beta Member Since 0.9.0 | Current Character : ExExCorpse

I have the same issue but for me the game crashes almost every time I alt-tab and that includes the online shopping naturally.
Actually I think this problem only started occuring with the last patch, I never had any problem with alt-tabbing before. I never lose.

" When you say crashing, you mean the client stops working and has to close? Or you're returned to the login screen? Balance & Design

" I mean the game closes, I get the message "client.exe stopped working". I also noticed that when I pickup the Medicine Chest the game crashes to the desktop, it happens the last 2 time. I never lose.

I have a bit diferent problem when i alt+tab everything is ok but when i try to get the game up its black screen and nothing i cant even go to task manager to close it the only solution is to start the game again from the toolbar on the botom

" Looks like your graphics driver has trouble recovering from being inactive. Usually on older systems this can take a while if you play in fullscreen. I would recommend playing in windowed fullscreen mode if you alt-tab regularly, because it doesn't put the game on inactive when you alt-tab, so it doesn't have to recover which should fix your issue. It is slightly heavier on your system though, but it's a small price to pay for having to close the game all the time. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
