Invalid Vector <T> Subscript and other errors

Upon attempting to launch the game, I get several exceptions and the game closes. In the order they appear, they are:

invalid vector <T> subscript

"FONTDFPHeiMedium-B5-POE-&Art/2DArt/Fonts/DFPT_B5_POE.ttf□□": Reference count for loaded resource FONTDFPHeiMedium-B5-POE-&Art/2DArt/Fonts/DFPT_B5_POE.ttf□□ is 8.

"FONTSimsun&□□": Reference count for loaded resource FONTSimsun&□□ is 1.

"FONTPMinglu&□□": Reference count for loaded resource FONTPMinglu&□□ is 1.

"FONTGulim&□□": Reference count for loaded resource FONTGulim&□□ is 1.

A dozen or so additional, similar font errors.

No idea what to do. Also, wasn't the vector <T> bug fixed already?

I just got the same error after installing the game on a new SSD, have no idea how to solve this. Did you manage to get it fixed?

I just got this for the first time after the game installed an update this morning.

Which version of Windows?

BTW MingLiU is the Chinese (and may be East Asian font) font 細明體 (correct me if i am wrong). I don't have that problem in Win10 (English UI) and modern OS usually display Chinese font correctly (and i have switched on as my true native language was Chinese)



May be the font from GGG client clashed?

Update to Windows 10, version 1903. Uninstall whatever antivirus programs you've got, too. If you're just using Windows Defender AND NOTHING ELSE, you just need to update until there's nothing left in the queue.

If you have malwarebytes, get rid of that as well.

IF you have Avast, YOU CANNOT UNINSTALL IT NORMALLY. You MUST use Revo Uninstaller to remove it in ONE go, otherwise it leaves an annoying add-on (Avast SecurePrice™ or whatever it is.)
