Bane + Blasphemy Support?

Blasphemy Support: "Supports curse skills, turning them into auras that will apply their effect to all enemies in an area around you."
Bane is a curse skill, so it should apply the dot in a aura(like deaths oath). It shouldn't however be able to apply the curses linked to it because they are linked to blasphemy as well. Has GGG said anything contrary to this and should this work? Dernier bump le 6 mars 2019 à 20:03:40

Don't think Bane is a curse skill.

The wording on blasphemy actually does directly imply that this will work.
I suspect it won't, but I hope it does, because this is actually a really clever thing you noticed. |

" But curse skills attached to blasphemy are cast. cast-only precludes totems, traps, and mines, but all auras are cast (instantly, nowadays, but still cast). Mechanically speaking, nothing indicates that it shouldn't work (even though I suspect it won't). Even the gem itself calls out totems, traps, and mines but not blasphemy. |

Bane as an aura would be fuckin OP and I would love to play it

GGG can add "supported curses deal 60% less damage" to Blasphemy gem and make a nice alternative to RF and Death Aura.

" I'm going off of what I remember hearing on baeclast. It'll probably have wording on the actual skill that will make it more clear when it appears. I.E. Fortify support has specific wording saying it can't be triggered off counter attacks. Bane will probably be the same. (⌐■_■)

the thing is a 6 linked blasphemy setup would be about 100% mana. so there is a big drawback to it. but I have the same feeling that it might not work.
