mob aggro range

As far as I know all mobs in PoE have almost max aggro range
(that when you see them, them mostly already target you)

Is it a good idea to make differentiation(or overall lower) of aggro range on different mob?

Player may prepare different tactic to fight;

Also a new factor to mob's strength.


Yes, I came to this idea when I suddenly recall in diablo-like game,
most mob won't attack you before you even notice them.

I personally think that the mob's aggro range needs tweaking as well. However, not in the way of shortening it. I find it odd that simply standing around a corner will often de-aggro a mob that was in combat with me just seconds before that. It seems kinda stupid, even for a brainless skeleton or zombie. :p

Further, mobs spointaniously walking away from me in the middle of combat seems a bit odd. Why do they do that all the time? It's not like some sort of flee mechanic, right? Since very often they're at max health and in large groups, when some of them simply turn away and leave the fight.
