Chaos Inoculation and Pain Attunement

Would these two skills work together? Chaos Inoculation limits you to 1 hitpoint, and Pain Attunement gives 25% more spell damage when low on life. I'm guessing they do, but I am looking for answers before I build my witch in that direction.

Right now my tree looks like this: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAQMABExkwxNrI74kWJ8tNuvFVFXIbMBdrW-vYEcEyWISGhZmxzXbaYFpTHUPIf989tCaf6rIHoKqKcSDiLKqhJgm84XKd62IgaM6mSa45bHb0_ayt2nOs1PsC7lKBkbAv8vIwwcy58YhEwLN2qjG1Hwxi9VZTkbX1qhy5E26SuqO6pjt17l48TuKPvxzusI=

Searching for "chaos innoculation" returns:

DOES PAIN ATTUNEMENT STACK WITH CHAOS INNOCULATION?

as the third result. The answer is "no".
Seems kind of counter-intuitive then to have them so close on the skill tree. Better wording needs to be added to one or the other >.>
"Low life" is a standard term within the game used consistently in all cases to mean that your life is lower than 35% of it's maximum value.
If you have only 1 maximum life, then the only way to have less than 35% is to be dead. So you can't be on low life and still alive if you have Chaos Inoculation.

Does Chaos Inoculation work with Pain Attunement? Yes. Spell damage you deal while dead (and thus on low life) will theoretically get the Pain Attunemnt Bonus. Dealing damage while dead is left as an exercise for the reader.

so... chaos inoculation+pain attunement+immortall call+ (blood rage or skill with blood magic gem) = undead caster?

? :P

edit... nvm immortal call only prevents physical damage, effects of just waking up :o

So you could make a suicide mage that leaves tons of sparks and stuff around and they'd deal more damage, or are their numbers not updated. What if a blow kills you and breaks your molten shield at the same time, would that trigger for 25% more damage?
Molten shell works out how much damage is prevented (and therefore explodes if it's enough) just before the damage reduces your life, so you wouldn't be dead when dealing the damage in that case.

I think the spark case might actually be able to work, but haven't tested. I guess watch spark in your character panel as you die?
I think they should not be incompatible, Its hard as it is to have Chaos inoculation.. i really don't see the benefits (after playing as one)
chaos innoculation isnt really that hard if you put alot of points into it... i have about 900 health when he has 700 now...

theres more than enough talents to buff up your e-shield by getting +% to it as well as more int to buff it up even more to be on par with at least semitanky characters.

though i dont really know what to do with it besides survive :P
