hi fellows,
i was told lutbot macro for insta logout on a hotkey is allowed. Is this information correct? If not. which script is allowed for an instant logout possibility? If you want to know they you email support and ask them if the specific macro is OK Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

i think this is an important information for everyone.
Why seems this to be such a secret and GGG cant just publish a list with allowed macros? My last acc got banned cause of this. So pls GGG answer and clear this information already once and for all! Ps.: I already messaged GGG when my last acc got banned. But they didnt answer me till today what exactly i did wrong. The only answer was: 'cause of cheating' |

" Because there is no such thing as an "allowed macro" (in the way you think about it). There are things you can do (send one command with one button press) and things you can't do (delays, multiple actions, conditionals, automation). GGG does not have the time or manpower to go through every single third party tool in existence, current and future versions, and investigate them to see which features exactly they offer and whether some of them can be used in a way that break the ToU. The tool you use doesn't matter. What you do with the tool does. See previous discussion for much more detail: Part 1, Part 2. The first post of the thread is also worth reading. alt+f4 is a legal, the safest and the fastest way to log out without using external tools.
using a script that sends alt f4 to the poe client is allowed. other functionality may make this scrilt bannable though. the crux with all these macros is, while non supporters and cheaters have nothing much to lose, things are very different for people that value their accounts and cannot use these tools. ggg not having a clear stance on that isn't helping in that regard. for example i would really like to run scripts that make trading easier but i deem it too risky. when it comes to banning, ggg is merciless. even some unique item supporters lost their accounts. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" no. but the fear of losing my investment get's me a disadvantage ingame cause i'm not using tools to maximise my gaming experience. things would be easier if i would have supported less. whatever that means for ggg's financing model. don't get me wrong, i'm still for banning everybody caught cheating regardless (except ziz of course) but from my personal point of view i would vote for banning all tools that interact with the game client in any way. for fairness reasons. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

nobody wants ggg to get the 'manpower' to get through all the tools.
just to make about 5 of them official would solve all the problems ggg couldnt fix till today (like lootfilter, trading macro etc.) and nobody would have been banned cause he didnt really know what to do. when ggg not has the 'manpower' to get through all the tools, how shall a single man manage this at all??
