Juggernaut or Gladiator

For Facetanking gameplay ?

Guardian, Occultist, Champion and Chieftain can facetank too.

Personally prefer Jugg.

Jugger isn't a facetanker and the class survivability is overrated. Yes, he's good at absorbing damage, but to an extent - one got to know when to retreat.

Meanwhile gladiator is super buffed, max block potentially scales up to 82%.
There are also shaped shields which turn this class ridiculous in its tankiness.

The major downside of max block gladiator is you are unlikely to have good endgame damage with it, due to progression specifics.
While jugg is way better in this aspect, and also more versatile.

But gladiator is the true facetanker, if it answers your question.

Why not try both? You know you can have more than one character... right?

my max block gladiator dps againist shaper without flask 690k :D
i beat in the game except uber elder(i never encounter it )
but i try juggernaut
he facetank can any end game content ? wich type deffence ? evasion?dodge?vaal pact ? regen ? cant block cuz two handed sword

Not saying it is the best/better. But in fact Gladiator sounds like a very interesting Class to try out.

Meh, a Juggernaut is more interactive, not to mention more interesting if you focus on block with an Aegis.

Gladiator is highly dependent on block, and those cool -40% block reductions do make themselves felt on endgame.

And Juggernaut is more versatile regarding defense, offense or simply combining both, while Gladiator pigeon holes you on choosing mainly block.

RF Juggs manage to facetank quite effectively as max block gladiators, discharge Juggs are fun to play, and any variation in between can be adapted to whatever you fancy, and what items you have at hand...

PS: Those new shields work on max block Juggernauts too...

his block is savage tho. All you need when you have insane block is armour and life, so you can just go iron reflexes + the usual life nodes and youre tanky as fuck. The investment is so much bigger on a jugg if u want to compete with that.

I think for general mapping gladiator is the pick if u want to be a facetanker.
