[HELP] (Infernal Blow) Oni-Goroshi Chieftain / BF works better

Hi,

I saw Pohx working on a Kitava's Infernal Blow Char recently and I loved the idea.
As I'm always looking for more budget friendly builds I thought about using Oni-Goroshi as weapon with Infernal Blow.

So here is the idea:
Using: (don't look at the gem links, I'm currently leveling this char)

+ Kaom's Heart as base.

and skilltree like:

OR:


OR get Avatar of Fire Node and use Heavy Strike:



Build has decent fire penetration, some ele + fire dmg and I could use free Flammability with Impresence.

Further Helms with + Infernal Blow DMG enchant are pretty cheap.


Could this in total work as a build?

After finally getting the sword at level 8.3, at least I was rewarded with a max crit roll, this is my plan:

Perfect for SSF.
I'm still in early leveling though so I'll see how well this works.
Tectonic Slam does more than twice the damage of Infernal Blow but eats our Endurance Charges, will see how that trades off later.
(I know Molten Strike is the way to go but I really don't like covering half of my screen with those balls)

I found this thread after some group play totally sucked while the party had trouble seeing anything on while I used Molten Strike. I'm looking forward to trying out Infernal Blow as Reave just wasn't keeping up with my current setup. I'm curious to test out Infernal Blow and see how it performs.

just want to keep you updated on this.

Infernal Blow didn't work that well in my setup, so I switched back to Reave / BF.
The build I played lately is pretty much a clone of Nathan's Oni-Goroshi BF Chieftain but cheaper ;-)

The ST damage is really nice for the cost of ~5ex.

I might give this build a chance once 3.3 with the buffs to Infernal Blow hit's the servers.

The degen isn`t an issue at all in this setup.
