alternative endgame
|
I would love to see endgame content that isn't mapping / boss killing. What we have to do besides mapping for endgame (excluding clicking alts on piece of gear for 12hrs) is atziri (a map), masters, and lab (boss kill). So basically masters are kind of the only different thing, yet these are mostly seen as kind of annoying and done just in conjunction with maps. I'm no game designer here but I would like to see endgame that isn't the atlas. Thoughts?

This exact same thing has been posted at least three times in the last month. Do a search. Long drawn-out discussions that got nowhere because Atlas is the endgame of choice for PoE. Sorry, dude.
Maybe try posting in feedback or something - this ain't going nowhere here in General Discussion. |

The atlas and map system are the heart of PoE.
If you don't like grinding maps or event bosses then PoE is just not the game for you. IGN: Arlianth

End game: Something to do after the main game is over.
An end game has four main tasks: - Let you progress even further than you do in the main game (levels, gear etc.) - Let you face tougher challenges - Being a much needed currency sink - Occupy your time I think "end game" is a vastly misunderstood concept. What exactly are you searching for? Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

He's not looking for an endgame, he's looking for "something different". I guess we could all take up knitting.

I haven't done knitting yet... but I appreciate it when I see it being done. I'm more the poker player. That will likely be my retirement plan. That or Bridge. Love that game.

" Oh. You're just a living stereotype, aren't you? Old, grumpy teacher playing Bridge on his spare time. Fantastic. I love it. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
