Anyway to prevent Fullscreen from minimizing when other windows pop up?

Fullscreen runs perfectly smooth for me, even in large Map parties, but I'm always afraid of a window popping up and minimizing my game and getting me killed, so I've been playing Windowed Fullscreen which stutters a lot more unfortunately. Is there any way, whether it's a setting somewhere or a 3rd party program that will prevent PoE from minimizing?

windowed fullscreen is your friend.

I suggest you look to the program causing said pop-up windows, and tell that one to not pop that shit up when you're busy, or at all.

I would love to use it, but even on my high end PC it doesn't really run very smoothly in large Map groups. While playing in Fullscreen, I can party with 2 Necros, a Lightning Arrow guy, a Poison Arrow and not drop below 60 FPS.

I haven't had any problems yet actually, never been minimized. It's just a concern of mine and I was looking into a way to prevent it from happening if possible, so that I could continue to use Fullscreen without any concerns.

Eh, you generally don't want to fix what's not broken. If you want peace of mind, then test in a safe environment to see what happens when someone IMs you while you're in-game, or whatever you think may or may not steal focus...

Basically I said that usually fullscreen apps, stay in fullscreen mode when stuff is going on in the background. For some reason PoE, let's these other apps take precedence over a fullscreen app. This shouldn't happen.
