[2.6] Static Strike Berserker [550k+ Damage]

Build

This build is a elemental damage Berserker using a Two Handed Sword and Static Strike. Static Strike does an initial hit of the tooltip damage, then right after it does an Area of Effect explosion for 60% of the initial hits damage.

With the Berserker Ascendancy we get a huge physical damage boost and 100% of damage leeched as life. This lets us stack physical damage nodes and use a Physical to Lightning support with Static strike convert 100% of Physical Damage to Lightning.

Have you thought of using Brain Rattler for lightning pen and also freeing up phys to lightning gem? Otherwise pretty cool build!

Just tested out a 6L Brain Rattler with Lightning Penetration in Path of Building, changed all of the 2H Sword nodes to 2H Mace nodes. It is quite a bit of DPS loss due to the 2H Mace nodes not being nearly as good as the 2H Sword nodes.

Sim DPS with current setup comes in at 594910 DPS for 2H Swords and 2H Mace comes in at 517343 DPS. If anyone is curious and wants to see this stuff, here are build links for Path of Building.

Thanks for testing that, but consider that brain rattler gives 20% lightning pen which should more than cover the dps difference. However swords are much faster so I could see the appeal to go swords.

Edit: unless path of building factors in the penetration that is.

It does as far as I know.

Added some more videos, uploaded first times fighting 2/4 guardians. Could do much better with leap slam to have fortify and max endurance charge 100% uptime.

I think this build might be stronger with an Oro's doing pure fire damage static strikes.

My tree gives you slightly higher damage and over 8k health with similar items to what you are using.

Kaom's Roots are incredibly strong on Berserker right now as it grants both stun and freeze immunity and 200 life.

Where are you getting mana leech from? Jewels?

I know this is late but, stun immunity is 2 points away (Unwavering Stance) in the original build, and that lets you use any boots you want.

I checked out your Oro build linked and while it might match the same dps you are using 5 Jewels that are impossible for people to buy X5 -> https://i.imgur.com/E5TPgbY.png

5 of those are used, and the gems in the original build weren't even 20/20 like in yours.
