So SSF is not a separate league, it's just a mode?

"
Ladders on the website record what level you reached in SSF before moving back to the regular leagues. Characters that have moved back to the regular leagues are marked as "retired".
SSF leagues share their global chat channels with their non-SSF equivalent. They have no access to trade chat channels.

If global chat is shared between regular leagues and SSF, that means SSF is not a separate league at all? So it's just a mode? So notifications like "character ... went to this zone first" or character ... reached level 69 first" are not going to differ between SSF and non-SSF?

It sounds it it isnt and shouldnt be the same way HC should be in the first place since its a better system that doesnt need more servers to split players up
Hm, soo will be nice to hear GGG staff about that:

1) there will be separate LADDERS-> Legacy SSF ladder board?
or
2) in LADDERS\Legacy there will be just aditional column which shows 'SSF active/retired' ?
Separate leagues and separate ladders. They just share a general chat. I don't usually play leagues but isn't "character ... went to this zone first" usually a system message? If so sharing the same global channels wouldn't affect it.

If ssf is not an actual separate league and just a mode it does kind of kill the racing aspect since you wouldn't even get a system message that you reached level 100 first on ssf, etc. I mean it s not that much of a deal, it s just a wall of text, but having a completely separate league with its own system messages would motivate more players to race in ssf league imo. Would be nice if a GGG staff member could clarify this

There is ladder for that anyway?
If there are no separate league/ladder what is to prevent someone from buying items on a non-ssf char and putting those into the stash for his ssf char to use?
its more like a separate ladder that you can opt out of at any time
I dont see any any key!
It's a new thing. Doesn't have to be what you expect it to be.

Maybe we should call it something else entirely.

The deciding factor will be when we link items in forum posts. What will it show? "Legacy League" or "SSF Legacy League"?

I was not expecting much but was hoping for more clarification on how ssf leagues work and if those are leagues at all. As of now it looks like it's a mode with a separate ladder but it s still the same league as non ssf. Which kind of kills my hype to play it all as my main focus is racing.
