Frenzy charges are confusing

Link 1 says frenzy increases 4% phys dmg per charge while Link 2 says frenzy increases 4% DAMAGE per charge. Which is it? Is Phys Damage the same as "Damage"?

it's different things, frenzy is a skill.
"frenzy charges" are endgame charges which buff most skills (attack faster, faster casting).

the only relation is that using frenzy grants you frenzy charges and it profits from frenzy charges in a specific way. there are also other items which give you frenzy charges.

physical damage is only a subset of "damage types" like elemental damage and chaos damage.

Got it. So do they both stack -The Frenzy skill and Frenzy charge? 4% phys dmg and 4% damage increase?

For example the Flame Golem skill. If you summon the golem it can give you a 30% increase in damage. It does not specifically say physical/elemental/chaos damage so I assume it increase all types of damages. The Frenzy tooltip got me confused since it says the skill gives 4% phys dmg and 5% attack speed PER CHARGE while the charge is sort of different. Help me pls huhuhu

the effect of frenzy charges towards the frenzy skill are those described on the frenzy gem itself.
