Frenzy based discharge

Can we have a way of doing it?

I bet many people would be eager to do this build. Currently there are no tools of doing viable variant of it, only some unreliable on kill gains and underperforming frenzy attack generating charges. If it's because of power charge discharge or frenzy charge OPeness, it can always be fixed with unique mods.. Like unique- cannot receive power or endurance charge if you gained power or endurance charge recently (so no frenzy+power or frenzy+endurance discharge, but can generate for other builds), and for generating lets say 60% to gain frenzy charge per each mob not inflicted ele status ailment on hit (including chill) and 20% for inflicting (excluding chill).

And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
You realize that Terminus Est exists, do you? Works EXACTLY like Voll´s Protector, only with Frenzy Charges. yw.

this is wrong in so many ways.
well, yes of course it works. Will anyone do this? no. It's party dependent, with no party- no build, other guy with frenzy attack wont enjoy his gameplay at all. And even if it would be done anyways, it would still lack in power, even more so in two member party.

was not aware of this weapon, but it seems it's gain per attack/cast and not hit which is quite a lot weaker than voll's protector, thou at least it can work.

terminus est- Gain a Frenzy Charge on Critical Strike
voll's protector- Gain a Power Charge for each Enemy you hit with a Critical Strike
Coc multistrike frenzy + tahat support on cold dmg + pouchers mark, if you can cap crit with brightbeak then use that witih rider, if not take assasyn

Works? Yes. Good choice? Doubtful.
Possible if you really want.

Edit: terminus might not work by itself if you use coc, but could enchance it probably maybe

i just know that i tried CoC discharge with the sword and it worked. i might have overlooked something, but it felt okay-ish. you prolly have to try yourself. but with the BV setup, it felt jsut like daggers, only a lot slower and obv less crit chance.
BV generates charges on each crit hit? that's interesting. Might actually try it, thou it's weaker. thx.

I had a build earlier in the league that used frenzy-CoMK-discharge, which was neat. But it was kinda shaky, because for some reason Frenzy's charge generation timing isn't consistent at all. Every other charge generator on kill/hit/crit/etc generates the charges before comk-discharge tries to trigger on a hit that kills, whereas about ~25% of the time Frenzy doesn't generate a charge until AFTER discharge tries to trigger and the other ~75% of the time it gives the charge prior.


However, if you would like to pursue a CoMK-Discharge build, you can also try it using a 30% Blood Dance, an ascendancy that gets at least 15% chance at frenzy charges on kill (trickster/raider/gladiator), and Bloodrage with the uber-tier enchant (which ups its charge generation chance up to 55%). With all that, you get at least 100% chance to gain frenzy charges on kill (at least with your mainhand, in the case of Gladiator), so you will be guaranteed to gain at least 1 frenzy charge upon killing a target with your CoMK attack, ensuring at least a 1-charge discharge every time. Plus you'll be rolling in charges with every kill with everything giving charges all over the place.



Alternatively, you could cut out some of that and just dw Daresso's Passions, covering the other 50% chance with basic bloodrage and blood dance or something. But then you also have to deal with using a low dps weapon to get melee kills. Unless you use a different mechanism to deliver the discharges.

frenzy discharge sort of sucks because the average damage on a frenzy charge damage is like only 70% of a power charge. At least endurance charge average damage is like 85% of a power charge. I tried a quill rain coc discharge with frenzy... probably dumbest idea ever, due to a lot of reasons... eventually i just changed to vortex + ice nova using a better bow skill. Still sucks but at least you can hit several mobs with one bow attack so you can still destroy packs and keep packs alive outside nova/vortex range to use to proc coc against a single target who's inside your range and stuff.
