Disappearing cosmetic

So, I recently vendored a pair of boots that I'd had two cosmetics on. I remembered to take one of the cosmetics off, but forgot to take the black footprints effect off them and sold them to the vendor. I've put this in as a bug because every other time I've tried to sell something with cosmetics, the game tells me that I'm unable sell an item while it has a cosmetic attached to it but this time it (clearly) didn't.
I have no idea if anything is able to be done regarding getting that footprint effect back (and they didn't cost much, so I'm hardly that bothered by it) but if possible, that would be nice. Bug No. is 3,715,874,236 (though it should be noted this happened a couple days ago, and I was too lazy to put the report in until today). Dernier bump le 29 juil. 2016 à 20:22:05

" No, you did not. Cosmetics cant be sold, vendored, traded, deleted, even a character with one can't be deleted. The cosmetics are there somewhere in your stash or on a character. Now are you sure it wasn't maybe a unique that has the effect as part of the item? Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi
