PoE skill gem planning spreadsheet - free for all / help needed

Hello community,
correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that there is no up-to-date skill gem planner out there. This made me putting some time into evolving an excel-spreadsheet that I want to share with you now ! For those of you who first think of security: I'm not using any VBA script or macros. 2016-06-01 first realease. Added skillgems Arctic Armour, Cast when Damage Taken, Culling Strike, Empower, Enfeeble
2016-06-02 as soon as a class is chosen, the "buyable" column will be highlighted to indicate, if the char can support the skillgems itself, or if one gem must be bought from another player 2016-06-02 added all skillgems' socket colors, added Vaal skill gems, added stats of Faster Casting, Flame Dash, Flesh Offering, Generosity Support, Haste, Hatred, Increased Duration Support, Melee Physical Damage Support, Minion and Totem Elemental Resistance Support, Minion Damage Support, Minion Life Support, Molten Shell, Raise Zombie, Spell Echo Support, Summin Chaos Golem, Summon Raging Spirits, Vaal Haste (now the test template is complete) 2016-06-02 changed "Mana" column to "Effect" which can be for example the skill's mana cost, faster casting %, increased elemental resistance % …. 2016-06-02 requirements columns are now "text" formatted for handling reasons. thus the value is multiplied with 1 in the char tab, to act as numeric value again 2016-06-02 added space for links to a video guide, a forum thread and a passive skilltree 2016-06-02 changed stat calculation from "level based" to "enter the stats gained from skilltree, then I tell you what you will still need from items" 2016-06-02 changed the "buyable by class" cells from "yes/no" to "✔/X" JUST TRY IT OUT planned features / to-do: - data of all skill gems - enter all currency into dropdown list Last but not least: I NEED YOUR HELP ! Copying all the skill gem data from poewiki is ... let's say: a little bit annoying ... but if some of you want to support this little project, then you can help me by entering the data into this google spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q2hs7F660hRnmB7l4IkfTNaYe5nyXT4cykL9gwsS20g/edit?usp=sharing This link enables you all to edit all data - I hope this works. Should there be any troll who erases the entered data, then I will have to delete the link and hand it out only by PM. - I've tried to design the sheet as usable as possible, so for example you can simply copy&paste the "buyable by class" line from poewiki to the spreadsheet, because the classes-columns are in the same order. - Please enter the gem color as R/G/B/W. - If you want to help, please leave a comment on which skill gems you are working, and as soon as you have finished these - just to make sure the same work is not done twice. - I recommend to download the sheet to your own pc and edit the data there - so you can use the "transpone"-tool (sry, don't know the exact english name of it) - when I copy the data from poewiki, I paste the complete table into a plain-text-formatted tab in excel and select "use format of target cells" after pasting. afterwards I copy the data from this tab, using the "transpone" function while pasting it into my spreadsheet (select first target cell => right click => paste values => select "data only" & "transpone") - for copy&paste of the vendor data, I simply copy from poewiki, paste it into my spreadsheet and then select "use format of target cells" --==[ stay smooth ]==-- The One And Lonely Dernière édition par Kampfkrapfn#0908, le 2 juin 2016 à 18:20:15 Dernier bump le 2 juin 2016 à 18:19:48

What this spreadsheet may be for ? I intended to use it for having a summary where I can buy my skillgems while leveling, and for not having to look up that on poewiki everytime. Additionally for seeing what colors of sockets I must have in my equip.
You know, I'm playing PoE for roughly 3 months now, and there are enough things to have in mind in my real life. here's how I copy the data from poewiki: - I recommend to download the sheet to your own pc and edit the data there - so you can use the "transpone"-tool (sry, don't know the exact english name of it) - when I copy the data from poewiki, I paste the complete table into a plain-text-formatted tab in excel and select "use format of target cells" after pasting. afterwards I copy the data from this tab, using the "transpone" function while pasting it into my spreadsheet (select first target cell => right click => paste values => select "data only" & "transpone") - for copy&paste of the vendor data, I simply copy from poewiki, paste it into my spreadsheet and then select "use format of target cells" made an update today, see changes in "history"-spoiler in my first post The One And Lonely
