WTF .[Portal dissapeared]. WTF

Today, i found a headhunter offer on cadiro. I called my brother to bring perandus coins, but when he came to my hideout after ~3 minutes, the portal was gone.
This is beyond acceptance when i've given real money for the game (even the small amount i can afford)

Can someone from support answer and just tell me to quit or fix it?

Were you on a Zana mission that you had failed? If so - as soon as you went back to your hideout, the master mission ended and Zana returned to your hideout. Only way to keep that open is to stay in the instance or (at the very least) stay in the laboratory.

I was indeed, but i didn't leave the instance and kept going back and forth to the laboratory, waiting for my brother to log in and come in with the coins. There were 3 more portals left untouched when my brother came to my hideout and the portal was gone.
Even if this was intended, it's a game-breaking event for me, that made me feel uncomfortable about playing again. At least for now anyway.

Not sure how that works, but if the mission is failed, it may not allow anyone else to join (your hideout senses that the mission is failed and closes the portal on that side)

Interesting question for the devs - but that seems like the most logical explanation. It won't let anyone in your party join a failed mission.

Pretty sure that has something to do with it, but you don't want to hear me guess about what happened - maybe someone who knows the details better will come along and help.

Sounds logical but insane at the same time. But even if know why it happened, it's not going to solve anything now, since GGG is against refunds (reasonable but not always imo) and support is not able to help according to their words. But thanks for your replies.

Yeah, as soon as the mission failed (or completed and the daily owner talked to zana), the portal from the hideout disappears. Only way to keep it open is to have an uncompleted mission.

No bug, you did something wrong, don't blame others for your own mistakes

I didn't personally blame anyone, just the specific mechanic that i wasn't aware of. It was an unintended mistake because of lack of information about it. If i knew it, i would have just completed the challenge, but i just waited there and time run out.
Personally i find it wrong and unreasonable, since there was only one portal (Laboratory) connecting my hideout to Zana, while a portal is supposed to be bidirectional by nature.
