Hardcore deaths don't get reverted, it defeats the purpose. It's a slippery slope, where do you draw the line?
If the server is acting up, you are taking a risk if you continue playing. We each have a different level of risk we are willing to endure. The risk averse would stop playing under poor server conditions. Fastest way to level. Well, after your first character, just knowing the game you'll notice how much faster you get back up and running. Don't pick up items, just kill stuff. You'll be levelled and strong again in no time. Not sure if duo is faster, someone else will have to fill in. SSF SC Gauntlet Alt Ascendancies: 73

Hardcore is dominated by "safe" builds. Glass Cannons come and go, but Zookeepers and (endurance charge/life regen) Tanks last longest and end up topping the charts.
If your build can't survive for a 3s pause, then you should evaluate the build. Yes, I know a lag spike in the middle of two yellow packs with +spd/crit and ++damage is hard for anyone to survive, but that's an extreme edge case and most likely not how you died during a lagout. My best advice is to fall in love with Temporal Chains, Zombies, and 1h+shields. |

Nothing can be/will be done for server issues, just like nothing can be/will be done for you losing power, or for spilling you're cranberry vodka all over the keyboard, or for your mom pulling out the internet cord... or.. yeah, anything else.
Understand, I acknowledge the frustration that these kinds of things can cause. I used to have a horrible connection when I played AO years back, and as a result I simply didn't participate in PvP until I was able to correct the issue. "the premier Action RPG for hardcore gamers."
