Loading screen never finishes when changing zones

Loading screens are not finishing. I am stuck in them until I alt + f4. The game does not freeze, nor stop responding, the loading screens just do not finish.

It is random, sometimes it is every new zone, sometimes it's every 3rd zone. I have taken the advice of others on the forums and removed/re-added exclusions for POE both in my antivirus and firewall. Help please, it is really frustrating having to run through zones 2-3 times constantly.

By the way, this problem just began today 12/26/2015

Having same kind of issue ..

The same problem for me just began today 26th December. When I load an instance it may or may never load.

I have Steam version of the game.
GTX660TI and I7 2600K.
PoE is still and has always been in my Windows Firewall rules.

Well at least you can launch the game. I have not even been able to launch past the 3 ears at the top. I recently found this game and really like it but I feel t is going to be a heart breaker and may be better to not play it before i fall in love with it.

I am glad I am experiencing these issues now instead of after having contributing lots of real money which I am sure I would be doing if I have not been having issues.

First week was smooth but after those daily updates I have had issues mainly not being able to play the game because it will not launch.

I know it is not my rig but after those daily updates I started getting lag, spikes and crashes so not sure what to do. i have uninstalled and installed, checked integrity through steam (which I think steam is the issue)

Yep, getting the same issue here. Would be nice to have some feedback. Do we have to check our machine or it's an issue with the game client?

Same issue. Everything was working fine for me since I began playing path of exile years ago. Now it's very very frustrating to play. Every now and then (I can't pinpoint any particular situation) the game is stuck in zoning. There is no particular zone, one time it works and the second it freezes.
