How about dual-dagger ice witch?

I've noticed that some daggers can increase critical hit chance (CHC) by 80%, and there are several dagger perks which bring CHC. I would like to know is there someone who tried this kind of build? What I'm concerned is whether it is possible to find a dagger with nice spell damage. If the answer is yes, I think the high CHC of daggers is quite beneficial to ice witches.

I wouldn't worry about crit chance. As ice witches - multiplier is much better for us.

It can't!

So when we're working with 600% increased critical ... we should focus on the other things we've got to work with.

There's one thing I liked double daggers for - which was

It makes for a fast escape, and a few questions from people who've never seen it before. It's about as useful as having a quicksilver flask on your belt.

The danger with going daggers, is you'll get trapped into dexterity - which is more or less a pointless stat for us. If I were going to hybridize - I'd go for str+armor. It'll defend from that occasional smack we take - and allow ES/Armor items. There's mobs (and players) that always hit, un-evadeable. Armor > evasion for them.

I'm not sure you quite get how this works. There is no point in having a massive multiplier if you hardly ever crit.....

@OP, yeah daggers can work just as well as wands, they both have their pros and cons.
I'm using Ice Spear as a primary attack - if you're using that, you have a massive crit chance built in.

On my own ice lance I have a lesser multiple - and if I'm getting my lance into 2nd form it has 600% increased crit.

7% base * 600% = 42% crit chance for 2nd form ice spear. Nearly a 50-50 chance at hitting huge.

I nearly always crit if I'm standing at the right distance. 1 in 3 shots is a crit, with 3 shots - 42% x 3 projectiles - one of them hits massive.

Greater crit strikes on that = double damage crits + any passives + weapon mods you have = death.

I do love daggers - and I played 60 levels using them. This is what I'm finding in cruel - after playing 60 levels using daggers.

spell damage + crit multiplier is awesome.

I'm currently trying dual daggers. not too bad so far.
