Stuck at 'Checking Resources'

I played the game for a while now. But with the todays Patch, I stucked 2 hours at the checking resources. Due to the fast Internet I have, I decided to get a fresh install. But unfortunally even with the fresh install im stucked at the checking (the game is approx 32MB). I don't know what I could do now :(

Same problem here.

I've been having the same issue. This is what I've tried to far to attempt to resolve the issue:

The first thing I tried was running the program as an administrator - This had no effect.

I also tried running the program in every compatability mode possible - again, no effect.

I tried re-installing and patching from there - the patcher still hangs on the exact same folder, which according to the logs is 2DItems.

Finally, I tried leaving it going overnight to see if it just took ages. After 8 hours, it still hadn't done anything, and I was forced to concede that I had no idea how to fix it or how to proceed.

Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Ok, I dont know if this fixed it, but I put it in to windows xp compatibility mode, and now its moved on to "Allocating Space" :D

It sounds like yours is working Anima. I've no idea what the problem is with mine, because putting it in compatibility mode didn't seem to help at all.

I've had the same problem the past 2 days.

It is either stuck at "Checking Ressources" or "Connecting".

Admin-mode, compatibility-modes, PackCheck, Connection checks, resetting router/firewall and a reinstall...
Nothing has helped so far :/

I have no idea what happened, but after trying to run the client again it seems to have decided to work.

It was running in windows XP Compatibility Mode as an admin, but I'm inclined to believe that didn't have much to do with it working, as it had failed to work before.

The time it decided to work was when it opened and the background art didn't load - instead, I got a white screen with a small strip of art at the bottom before being taken to the patch notes after around ten minutes.

Several hours of different tryings and nothing works. So I bump this thread, maybe someone from GGG will help asap :P

Im very stuck here aswell, I've tried everything you've said in this thread but nothing works.
