Any good discharge builds still?

A year or two back, I was in awe at some CoC Discharge builds. I'm aware that CoC got nerfed quite a bit, but I was wondering if there was still any viable discharge build out there?

I've reached a brick wall with my flame totem build and would like to try something new.
Flame totem can handle all content with relative ease (except perhaps uber atziri - it has been done using FT but I wouldn't call it easy). I've used FT to get to mapping level in a 1 week race (got to 81 before patch/passive reset), and, before then, used double flame totems to level to 95 on standard. A character built around flame totem can do 78/79 maps without significant gear investment.

I'll have a look at that build, but I'm mostly bored with flame totems. Any viable discharge builds out there?

Yes, but they tend to be much more expensive. Mjolnir discharge is very strong but very expensive, refer to: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/917173

Other effective/popular discharge builds revolve around cast on crit, generally using either spectral throw or cyclone (just Google coc discharge).

For the builds that avoid hard casting:
- CoC Discharge is still good. Lots of good options for "applicator" skills with all weapon types.
- Mjolner Discharge is even better. Faster, higher damage, the works.
- CoMK+Frenzy is theoretically workable, but lacks single target.

For the hard casting varieties:
- Endurance (Fire) prolif Discharge was always good and still is.
- Tri-ele Discharge (charges from Ass/Poach/War-Mark on kill) is kinda fun but sucks in parties.
- Frenzy Discharge (weaponswap: QuillRain Frenzy <-> caster staff) is kinda fun, but weapon swap is laggy.

I'm sure there are a few others, but these ones stand out to me. Aside from Mjolner, I've done all of them (and a few different CoC variants) personally and all were really fun and could make it to maps with no issue.

It's probably my favorite skill in the game. :)
Groundslam CoC + discharge was made really cheap in the last patch.

I've nearly finished my Blood Magic selfcast crit Discharge guide. It's vastly cheap (78 maps on a 4L, that sort of thing) and has pretty fast clears. I can send you what I've written if you're keen.
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!
Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll look to the shadow boards for further research on coc discharge. Hopefully it's doable on a budget.

In a way, it's been buffed. More %chance to ignite on the tree, templar reworked area, and what I think makes it most buffed? The addition of Spell Echo supporting enduring cry to almost always max your endurance charges for max charge discharges. Burning dischargers were more common back before spell echo was released due to a certain personality.

I've been playing a burning discharger lately, because I'm an alt-o-holic and I've been having a bit more fun than normal because the ability to one shot packs with horrible gear (Only good pieces of gear I have on the character is Searing Touch and Malachai's artifice with ice nova in it to apply -20% fire res). Adding searing bond was a nice double dip in elemental/fire/burning damage.
