CWDT+COH+AOE spell

I just found out how to get over the max lvl or lwer requirement on CWDT for curses !
You just need CWDT lvl 1 +Curse on hit lvl 1-20 + AOE like Ice Nova or Shock Nova lvl 7 (dont go higher with it or it wont work ) + Curse lvl 1-20 (lvl 1 CWDT requires you to have the curse to max of lvl 5 with this trick you can max the curse to lvl 20 !)
You get what i mean right when the CWDT procks the aoe spell will hit all the monsters and apply the lvl 20 cures to ALL of them !

I thought this was removed when they added the "no skill can be supported by two triggers" change (though that was primarily aimed at CwDT + CwS + skills).

If not, then... okay. Seems pretty cool.

Well, this is not the same. ...

I had assumed it was caught up in the crossfire of code.
Something like "if linkage contains >1 trigger gem, discard whole linkage".
Glad to see that that wasn't their implementation.

Yes. Make sure the Curse is higher-level than the CwDT allows and it works just fine.

With lower level spell and higher level curse, each trigger support will only support one active skill, and vise versa

Totally works right now. I've been using cwdt - ball lightning - curse on hit - temporal chains - vulnerability (Yes, I have a 5L for my cwdt curse, my main attack setup is on a sire of shards)
Combat is simple.
Keep your blood in.
Take theirs out.
I use Herald Of Ice with Curse on Hit to apply Assassin's Mark to any mobs that get hit by the explosion from Herald of Ice.

I also run a CWDT-Vortex-Increase area of Effect-Ice Golem for "defense" (mostly it just makes me notice I'm taking damage lol) but it seems like this method of having a curse applied would be better. Which curse do you think is better for defensive purposes on a ranger?
Greenmind - TC is nice not only for poison builds and enfeeble ofc.
